The wasp is a winged INSECT, related to the
BEE and the ANT. Wasps have biting mouthparts
and a thin stalk attaching the thorax to the
abdomen. The female wasp has a sting which
can be used repeatedly for paralizing prey.
In all solitary wasps the female lays a
single egg in a nest. Some wasp species
build nests from mud.
